  11. I recently decided to give the SKsh (Steven Koren's AmigaShell
  12. replacement) a try now that I have enough RAM that I don't need to be
  13. concerned with the amount of RAM my shell requires.  Everything has
  14. gone pretty well so far, except for GNU Emacs (version 18.59).  I
  15. can't get it to run from an SKsh.  If I use the "emacs" startup
  16. script, it immediately complains of a stack overflow (and doesn't load
  17. emacs), and if I use the "temacs" executable, it runs emacs, but when
  18. I use any commands (like ^x^s to save a document), it then dies with a
  19. stack overflow error.  My stack size is normally 100,000, and I even
  20. upped it to as much as 1,000,000, with no effect.  I have no
  21. difficulties with emacs from the standard AmigaShell.  Anyone have any
  22. ideas?  Thanks.
